Research information system
The University of Wuppertal is introducing a research information system (FIS) as part of the state initiative CRIS.NRW.
The FIS is used to store, maintain, document, analyse and present information on the research activities and research output of BUW researchers. Our university bibliography is also part of the FIS. At the same time, we use the FIS to implement the reporting capability in accordance with the core data set for research.
The FIS will give you the opportunity to find out about the key research areas within our profile architecture, the activities of individual researchers, third-party funded projects, publications, patents, spin-offs, prizes, doctorates and research infrastructures.
Some of this information can already be found in our researcher database and in our project database.
